Tuckermans Ravine

I took a similar photo as my wife. My wifes came out way better though. She was up higher taking her picture and I hiked down to where these hikers were and took this picture.

The black "abyss" on the bottom right is Tuckermans Ravine. People ski down it in the Winter, and some die. The only way up is to hike. It's not a ski resort. It's basically just sheer cliffs. The snow from the summit of Mt. Washington gets blown off from the high winds and it all falls onto Tuckermans Ravine, leaving 100' of snow in that one part of the mountain.
100' of snow is a LOT.
